Our strategic aim is to improve access to education and employability skills for people facing greater barriers, particularly in areas of high deprivation.

Among the charities supported by JLCT is Read Easy which helps adults learn to read.

There are an estimated 2.4 million adults in England alone who are unable - or hardly able - to read at all.
