Staying in touch

JLCT continues to support former John Laing employees. Team Spirit was an important aspect of working for the Company and there is a large group of retirees who still keep in touch with their former colleagues through a thriving network of retirement clubs, supported by JLCT.

These voluntary clubs organise gatherings and events ranging from quizzes and walks to magical mystery tours and meals out. The Trust also produces a quarterly retirement magazine and there is a secure online community for retirees too. Dependent upon service conditions, there is a Welfare service available to some former employees.
