Grants

JLCT is a proactive funder, finding organisations to support with Major Grants through research and referral, that work in our four key areas: Community, Skills & Education, Young People and Homelessness.

We don't have an open application process, but we often collaborate with other funders to reach local groups.

Key partners include community foundations across the UK, and John Laing Group.

As a proactive funder, we can only respond to proposals we have requested.

JLCT also provides Small Grants through the Make a Difference and Match Funding schemes, to charities supported by current and former employees of the John Laing Group.

Our approach is to work with partners that reflect Sir John Laing's values, and the Trust's commitment to equity and inclusion and environmental responsibility.
